Can you donate organs if you are cremated?

Yes.  Because the harvesting of organs happens prior to the disposition, you can absolutely donate. The process would be the same for cremation or burial.

1. After death your organs would be harvested and donated.
2. Your body would usually be transported to the funeral home.
3. You could have a traditional funeral with visitation
4. The deceased would be cremated following the funeral service.
